Nurturing your talent

Our graduate programmes: tailor-made trainings and discovery of the diversity of our professions

URGO offers two Graduate Programme courses for students and young graduates:
– six-month work placements with the URGO Consulting programme,
– first jobs as Chief of Staff to one of our managers.

By joining URGO on one of our Graduate Programmes, our young talents have the opportunity to discover the diversity of the Group’s professions and benefit from a unique training course to develop their corporate expertise and soft skills: decision analysis, project management, recommendation, assertiveness, public speaking, Power BI, etc.

The URGO Group has had the Happy Trainees label for nine years, proof of the excellence we put into the supervision of our trainees!

Urgo Consulting

URGO Consulting is the URGO Group’s “in-house consulting” firm and allows young graduates to rapidly begin their career and develop their talent.

During your work placement at URGO Consulting, you will have the opportunity to carry out a variety of assignments in all the departments and different companies in the group. You will have the chance to discover several divisions thanks to a cross-group approach encompassing various professional domains (Marketing, Finance, Industry, R&D, etc.), in line with the managers and heads of our companies.

Graduate Programme Chief of Staff

Our Graduate Programme allows young graduates to become the Chief of Staff to one of the managers of the Group and its companies for 18 to 24 months before moving on to an operational position in the Group.

This experience allows our young graduates to gain solid experience in a variety of fields, discover the Group’s culture and professions, and carry out strategic assignments with a high level of responsibility.

Learning companies

Continuing education and learning are an integral part of the DNA of the URGO Group, founded by a former Professor.

The Group set up its own corporate academy in 2009: the URGO University. Within this programme, the Group’s managers teach members of staff, passing on to them their knowledge and experience through a variety of modules: finance, decision analysis, management & leadership, marketing, negotiating, project management, etc.

Through these MBA-level lessons, the Group’s members of staff can develop their professional skills throughout their career. Since its creation, over 750 members of staff have benefited from training.

Léa Balian

Chief of Staff

One of the strengths of the Graduate Programme is that I am exposed to a very wide variety of experienced contacts who have an enormous amount to teach me. Having access to these knowledgeable and inspiring figures is an extremely rare opportunity for someone so young! Another advantage is that we are not obliged to specialise right away. During this 18 to 24-month-period, we have the opportunity to discover many professions, which gives us all the tools to choose our specialisation at the end of the Graduate Programme.

Cécile Wotawa

URGO Consulting trainee

As an Engineering and Management Masters student at Mines de Paris engineering school, I chose to do my first gap-year work placement at Urgo Consulting because I wanted to discover several professions during the same work placement. As in-house consultants, we carry out a wide variety of assignments. Over a six-month work placement, I have been able to work on eight different assignments, both in digital marketing and on quality and manufacturing topics or in the field of finance with the manager of one of the Group’s plants. It’s an extremely educational work placement because we work with many departments and interact with expert contacts in their field who take the time to guide us.
